What is Straight arm strength training?
It’s the ability to generate force through bodyweight strength exercises while the elbows are straight. This type of training involves exercises like support positions, planks, handstands, hangs and static holds. SAS training primarily targets the core, back, shoulders, wrists, and stabilizer muscles. This type of training is for everyone. If you’re a trainer, fitness enthusiast, or anyone wanting to learn the basics of gymnastics strength training, this will be a great workshop for you!
dURING THE WORKSHOP, YOU WILL LEARN
Physical Preparation: Warmup and mobility preparation for GST.
Straight Arm Strength Fundamentals: Master the basics of upright hands, inverted hangs, support holds, and various static hold positions.
Straight Arm Strength Skills: crow, L sit, skin the cat, front & back lever, human flag.
Gymnastics Core Basics: Hollow, superman, deadbug, side arch, compression, rotations.
Expert Coaching: Receive personalized advice from experienced GST trainers.
